The iconic green doors that City Hall newlyweds burst through after tying the knot have been replaced by “poopy brown” slabs — fudging wedding-day photos and robbing couples of a Big Apple tradition. The City Clerk’s Office, which actually hosts the civil unions, suddenly replaced the famous gilded doors last week with dual brown doors, one of which is covered with plywood.
