A drunk Florida boater killed a man and dumped his body in a marina’s water during a violent shoving match that broke out aboard his sailboat, where the two had been drinking together on Memorial Day in 2024. Kamal Padlowski was found guilty Thursday of murdering Melvin Jimenez during a brawl at the Little Harbor Marina in Ruskin, FL, on May 25, 2024, according to the Hillsborough County State Attorney’s Office. Padlowski, 52, shoved Jimenez during the fight, which caused the 47-year-old victim to fall backwards and slam his head onto the dock, leaving him motionless on the fiberglass gangway, officials said.
