Future NBA Hall of Famer LeBron James choosing the Philadelphia 76ers did more than shock the NBA. According to Dan Le Batard, it left people around the Miami Heat furious, confused and searching for an explanation. Speaking on The Dan Le Batard Show, the longtime Miami broadcaster said he began receiving messages questioning how the 76ers convinced James to accept a two-year, $8 million contract—roughly half of what Miami was reportedly prepared to offer.
