PHILADELPHIA — The Dodgers narrowly avoided a disastrous moment Wednesday, when Mookie Betts took a glancing blow off his head from a foul ball in the on-deck circle. As the second hitter due up in the top of the second inning during the Dodgers’ game against the Phillies, Betts had stepped out on-deck during an at-bat by Max Muncy. The Dodgers’ Mookie Betts was OK after taking a glancing blow off his head from a foul ball while in the on-deck circle.
