WASHINGTON — The powerful House Oversight Committee is threatening to subpoena Alan Dershowitz — once a criminal-defense lawyer for sex fiend Jeffrey Epstein — after the attorney abruptly canceled an upcoming interview. Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-Ky. ) seethed in a Tuesday letter to Dershowitz that he was attempting to “hide from this Committee’s investigation” into the powerful late pedophile, including of his potential government connections — despite having said he had “nothing to hide” and that he could share relevant details at the scheduled July 20 sit-down.
