Cyclist Toshiaki Fushimi died after crashing during the Matsusaka Keirin race on Saturday, the Japan Keirin Association confirmed. He was 50 years old. The former Olympic silver medalist was rushed to the hospital after he appeared to try to avoid a race collision by veering toward the outer barrier.
