South Africa soccer star Jayden Adams died at the age of 25 just weeks after participating in his team’s historic 2026 World Cup run, according to the South African Football Players Union (SAFPU). The cause of death is not known, and South African police said they found a 25-year-old man inside a house in Cape Town on Saturday morning, according to BBC. “Jayden had only recently represented South Africa at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, carrying the hopes of the nation with pride, courage, and distinction,” the SAFPU said in a statement.
