NYC thug violently mugs 89-year-old man of $1K — and even his $10 necklace

A cruel mugger tossed an 89-year-old man to the ground and robbed him of more than $1,000 after the senior left a Queens bank last week, cops and sources said.   The elderly victim had just stepped out of the Capitol One bank on Jamaica Avenue near Sutphin Boulevard around 12:30 p. m.
