Red Sox send injured Roman Anthony to Florida with ‘a singular focus’

The Red Sox is headed to Fort Myers for injury rehabilitation — and nothing else. Anthony, 22, suffered a partially torn ligament in his right ring finger in May. He is still experiencing difficulty swinging a bat due to the discomfort in his right hand and wrist.
