68% of NYC residents are proud to be American, new poll finds

The Big Apple bleeds red, white and blue. An overwhelming majority of city residents are proud to be an American, a new poll found as the nation celebrates its 250th birthday.   While the Empire State has long been regarded by some as one of the least patriotic states, the Honan Strategy Group poll revealed that 68% of Big Apple respondents said they are proud to call the United States their home.
