Anduril Industries, which manufactures defense systems and technologies, is deploying unusual methods to identify talent. "Very few companies in defense have actively recruited talent in a way that goes beyond the traditional," said Jeff Miller, the company's chief marketing, in an interview at the 2026 Cannes Lions Festival. Miller says Anduril's approach is deliberately "divergent" because they are trying to attract different types of employees.
