The Los Angeles Lakers have completely revamped the roster ahead of the 2026-27 season, headlining the offseason by signing center Walker Kessler to a four-year, $130 million deal. Kessler, who spent the first four seasons of his career with the Utah Jazz, turned down a five-year, $140 million contract extension from the organization. Instead, the 24-year-old chose to join the Lakers on a more lucrative contract.
