Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s administration is delaying NYPD officers’ holiday pay ahead of the Fourth of July holiday — as cops toil on 12-hour shifts during a broiling heat wave amid a crush of summer events, The Post has learned. City officials informed union leaders that cops’ holiday paychecks will be sent the third week of July, rather than the second, as done in past years, according to an email from Police Benevolent Association President Patrick Hendry sent to union members.
