A California town has revealed the shocking number of teens busted after the Central Valley city announced a nighttime curfew for kids following a string of crimes. The Fresno Police Department announced its officers would be conducting a “summer crime suppression operation” starting June 10 for two weeks intended to “reduce dangerous traffic‑related offenses, prevent violent crime, and ensure that kids and teens have a safe summer. ” The Fresno Police Department said “Operation Safe Summer was a success.
