California just proved it doesn’t do dining quietly. Two Golden State eateries have landed on Yelp’s newly released ranking of the “most outrageous” restaurants in the United States, a list spotlighting the places that go far beyond dinner and drinks and into full-blown entertainment territory. Yelp says the selections are based on a mix of overall rating, total reviews, recent activity, and pageviews.
