A massive alligator sparked panic when it took a stroll through a South Carolina neighborhood and evaded capture for three hours. Mom Amy Brandi captured dramatic video of the June 12 ordeal in Summerville, which showed the terrifying-looking gator thrashing its tail and gnashing its teeth on her front lawn as officers and wildlife specialists tried to snare it. Anxious neighbors watched on as the predator retreated and hid underneath Brandi’s car in her driveway, making it even more difficult to catch, the video shows.
