Hochul spells out 50 actions to slash red tape, fees across New York and save 1M hours of time

Gov. Kathy Hochul outlined 50 actions her administration is taking on to slash red tape and unnecessary fees that will help untangle residents from state government’s bureaucracy. The governor announced Monday she’ll simplify the license renewal applications for barbers, cosmetologists, real estate professionals, notaries, security guards and others who get permits from the Department of State.
