The sheriff’s department investigating the suspected abduction of Nancy Guthrie has issued an alert for another kidnapping suspect wanted just a few miles away from the 84-year-old’s Arizona home. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department put out a notice against Coral Michelle Smith, a 40-year-old career criminal wanted in a separate kidnapping case about seven miles from Guthrie’s home in the Catalina Foothills. Smith, who has an extensive criminal history, was allegedly involved in a kidnapping and assault with a deadly weapon case that occurred on May 29 at the intersection of River Road and La Cholla Boulevard, in Tucson.
