They were overlooked high school prospects whom most power-conference programs passed over.   They were all-conference college players who went undrafted.   Brooklyn natives Julian Champagnie and Jose Alvarado weren’t supposed to make it in the NBA, at least according to the experts, scouts and executives who made these decisions.
