Padres left fielder Ramón Laureano will be out 4-5 months and could potentially miss the rest of the season, manager Craig Stammen announced Friday. Laureano, who will be a free agent this offseason, went to X on Friday night during the Padres’ 5-0 loss to the Mets and posted the Bible verse “Hebrews 12:11” hours after it was announced his season could potentially be over. “For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields othe peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it” was the first quote from the verse.
