Race against time to snare California dad who ‘abducted’ daughter, 4, as her mom is found murdered

A desperate search is underway for a four-year-old Southern California girl who cops say has been abducted by her father — who is also a person of interest in the murder of her mom. An Amber Alert was issued by the California Highway Patrol for Daleyza Fregoso, who is believed to have been snatched by 40-year-old Ruben Fregoso. LAPD said a welfare check at the girl’s West Adams home in the 2600 block of Alsace Ave resulted in finding the body of an adult female inside the residence.
