The twin brother of Austin Metcalf – the Texas football star who died in his sibling’s arms after a fatal stabbing last year – accepted both of their diplomas during an emotional moment at their high school graduation. Hunter Metcalf, wearing his black and gold regalia, crossed the stage twice during Memorial High School’s ceremony inside the Comerica Center in Frisco, Texas, on Thursday night. “Hunter Metcalf will accept the posthumous diploma on behalf of his brother, Austin Metcalf,” the speaker said as the packed arena erupted into applause and a 30-second standing ovation, according to WFAA.
