An ABC News correspondent was seen diving for safety in the middle of a standup on the North Lawn of the White House when dozens of gunshots rang out Saturday night. Veteran reporter Selina Wang — known for her cool head and for regularly traveling with the president — was filming a report from the building’s “Pebble Beach” area for reporters on her iPhone before ducking for cover, her eyes bulging in panic. 6 ABC News correspondent Selina Wang was mid-standup on the North Lawn’s Pebble Beach when dozens of gunshots cracked.
