Chiefs’ Rashee Rice had knee surgery before heading to jail for violating probation

Before Rashee Rice was thrown behind bars, the controversial Chiefs wide receiver had surgery to remove loose debris in his right knee that was causing inflammation.   The surgery was performed a week before Rice was handed a 30-day jail sentence for violating the conditions of his probation, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Tuesday night.   The procedure was done in Dallas and Rice is expected to be sidelined for two months.
