Two teens and a third suspect were arrested in connection with at least 10 “random” shootings in Austin over the weekend — leading to widespread terror among residents and a shelter in place across a massive swath of the state’s capital. A 15-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy were arrested for the spate of “senseless” gunfire, including two shootings at fire stations, between Saturday night and Sunday morning, Austin Police Chief Lisa Davis said during a press conference on Sunday. The third suspect — whose age wasn’t immediately released, but is believed to be another young person — was taken into custody later the same day.
