California suspect nabbed after high-speed chase as police deploy clever tactic

An E-bike rider who took southern California cops on a high speed chase learned the hard way that there’s no escaping police when they deploy their eye in the sky drones. The Redlands Police Department said the suspect — who has yet to be identified — was riding recklessly on an electric bike through the city, “running stop signs and treating the wrong side of the road like the ‘scenic route. ’” Police said when they tried to have a chat with the person, “the subject decided to hit the ‘electric gas’ and zip away.
