Redondo Beach Pier evacuated due to ‘suspicious circumstance’

Long Beach Police Department told the California Post that all officers — including the watch commander — were dispatched Sunday morning in response to what they described as a “suspicious circumstance,” as authorities ordered evacuations around the Redondo Beach Pier. The Redondo Beach Police Department issued the evacuation order just after 11 a. m.
