A California forensic science teacher is getting her moment in the spotlight, and it’s not just her students she’s impressing. Erin Andrade, who teaches forensic research and biotechnology at the Center for Advanced Research and Technology in Clovis, has been named one of just five educators nationwide to receive the coveted Crystal Apple Award — a prize reserved for teachers who go the extra mile and are “genuinely remarkable” in the classroom.
