Mets drop Francisco Lindor down in drastic lineup change

CHICAGO — Needing an offensive jolt, Carlos Mendoza is shaking up the lineup. The Mets manager moved Carson Benge into the leadoff spot and Francisco Lindor to third for Friday’s matinee against the Cubs at Wrigley Field. Francisco Lindor was dropped from the leadoff spot by the Mets.
