SUNRISE, Fla. — Jonathan Quick was the first Rangers goaltender to step off the ice after morning skate, indicating he would get the start in the second-to-last game of the season against the Panthers on Monday night. He immediately gathered the media in attendance, still in full gear, for a scrum, which the veteran goaltender doesn’t usually do on game days since beginning his NHL career nearly two decades ago.
