Good Samaritan slashed in face while trying to break up fight on NYC train: cops, sources

A good Samaritan was slashed in the face when he tried to break up a fight on board a train passing through a Manhattan hub last week, cops and sources said. The victim was riding a southbound 4 train through the 14th Street Union Square stop around 2:40 p. m.
