For the next seven days, the Jacob Javits Center is the chicest parking lot on Earth. Eye-poppingly cool cars from around the world with multi-million-dollar price tags and speedometers that go above 200MPH have rolled in for the New York International Auto Show, a showcase dates back to the early 1900s and ranks as the largest attended motor event in the US. Showy curves, gleaming bumpers, exotic interiors and maximum performance draw thousands of car buffs who take in 700 or so of the most cutting-edge rides in the world.
