Jerry Jones declares Cowboys’ George Pickens intentions

Jerry Jones isn’t worried about George Pickens playing 2026 under the franchise tag, even with the possibility that the wide receiver won’t take part in the Cowboys’ offseason program.   The Cowboys owner told reporters Tuesday that the organization has “long-term plans for Pickens” and that the situation with the franchise tag was “normal. ”  Pickens, 25, and the Cowboys have until July 15 to agree on a new multiyear deal, but ESPN reported Monday that the team had not held talks with Pickens’ reps after they used the franchise tag on him, worth $27.
