The wife of Governor Gavin Newsom is being torched over recently resurfaced remarks she made about taking her children on a trip through Southern “red states. ” Scott Jennings, a conservative commentator for CNN, called Jennifer Siebel Newsom‘s tone “condescending” and warned she could become a political liability for her husband. In a clip circulating on social media, Jennings took aim at Newsom after she described a family trip in April 2023 intended to expose her four children to issues like racism, sexism and bullying.
