CBS Sports execs will not speculate whether Tiger Woods will compete in the Masters next week, and were vague on how they’ll handle, if at all, his recent DUI arrest following a car crash Friday near his home in Jupiter Island, Florida. The Masters will begin on Thursday, April 9, with CBS preparing to cover the event for the 71st consecutive year as the broadcaster attempts to navigate the waters Woods’ incident has created. During a Monday press call with Jim Nantz, Trevor Immelman, Dottie Pepper and Sellers Shy, CBS Sports president David Berson stepped in to answer a question about the appropriate way to cover Woods during the Masters.
