The student who shot his teacher at a prestigious Texas high school Monday morning killed himself, authorities announced. The 15-year-old boy shot a female teacher at Hill Country College Preparatory High School in in Comal County before turning the gun on himself, county sheriff Mark Reynolds said at an afternoon news conference. Officials had initially announced that the student had died following the gunfire, but did not say how.
