A 19-year-old woman was struck and killed by a garbage truck in Queens late Sunday night, according to police. The young woman, identified by police as Nishath Jannath, was crossing 62nd Street at Roosevelt Avenue in Woodside when a sanitation truck operated by Royal Waste Services hit her in the crosswalk around 11:55 p. m.
