Gov. Gavin Newsom took a dig at Kamala Harris for twisting the truth of what happened in a supposed texting spat between the two in her memoir “107 days” — speculating there was a financial motive. The memoir, which recounts Harris’s 2024 presidential campaign, only gave “a little shot as to the actual truth” of what happened when Harris gave Newsom a call after she found out Joe Biden dropped his presidential reelection bid, the governor said in an interview with Axios on Thursday.
