President Trump ended two days of guessing Thursday by saying that Iran had gifted him 10 “big boats” of oil in a show of goodwill — after he claimed Tuesday he had received a gift from Tehran, which officials refused to specify citing the sensitivity of peace talks. “They said, ‘To show you the fact that we’re real and solid and we’re there, we’re going to let you have eight boats of oil, eight boats, eight big boats of oil. ’ … That was three days ago, and I didn’t think much about it,” Trump said.
