Former CIA Director John Brennan was panned by the White House and social media users Tuesday for wild comments suggesting Iran is more trustworthy than President Trump. Brennan – one of the 51 ex-intelligence officials who claimed in an infamous letter that The Post’s bombshell scoop on Hunter Biden’s laptop emails was part of a “Russian information operation” – cast doubt on Trump’s claim that negotiations were underway with Tehran to end the war, during an appearance on MS NOW Monday. The Iranian regime has denied it is talking to the Trump administration, prompting MS NOW host Symone Sanders – who noted she is “wary of taking the word of Iran … an authoritarian regime that’s known to lie” – to ask Brennan about what could be happening.
