A retired Pima County sheriff’s detective believes that Nancy Guthrie’s kidnapping was premeditated and involved “two to four accomplices,” according to a report. Kurt Dabb, who worked with the agency now leading the search for the missing 84-year-old matriarch, told Parade that a high-profile abduction like Guthrie’s would need more people than just the masked, armed man caught on her doorbell camera the night she vanished. “I believe there are anywhere between two to four accomplices,” he said when asked if he thinks the suspect on camera acted alone.
