Get the paddle wagon. Wild video shows two Florida police officers jumping on paddleboards to chase a suspect who jumped in a river to escape arrest. A Volusia County deputy and Daytona Beach Shores cop were reading Chase Cruz, 28, his Miranda rights on Monday when he suddenly raced off toward the Halifax River, the sheriff’s office said.
