The Nets’ tanking has all been for one purpose: to land a potential young star. The Nets are playing the percentages and praying for lottery luck, in hopes of landing a franchise-changing talent in the upcoming draft. But long before the Nets host the draft in June at Barclays Center or go to the lottery in May, they’ll watch those prospects over the next month in March Madness.
