Shock poll shows majority of LA voters balk at supporting Karen Bass

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass appears to be heading into the thick of her re-election campaign on shaky ground. A new poll from Emerson College Polling/Inside California Politics shows Bass leading a crowded field of potential challengers with just 20% support, while a majority of voters — 51% — say they remain undecided. The numbers suggest the race for City Hall could be wide open heading into the June primary and likely November runoff election.
