A Queens pol wants to crack down on animal sacrifices in the Big Apple. Councilwoman Joann Ariola (R-Queens) told The Post she joined the Council’s new animal welfare caucus in part to push for tougher laws prohibiting the ritualistic killing of animals, considering her district has long been plagued by the mutilation of chickens, pigs, rats and other critters. “We’ve seen horrific cases of animal sacrifice along the shores of Jamaica Bay,” said Ariola, who represents much of The Rockways and Howard Beach.
