A 4-year-old Brooklyn boy who dashed away from his mom was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver on Thursday morning, just steps away from a local hospital, police and sources said. The boy was walking with his mom near Linden Boulevard and Rockaway Parkway across the street from Brookdale University Hospital shortly after 11 a. m.
