Melania Trump, in a historic first, gaveled the UN Security Council meeting into order on Monday but her message for the world’s children was overshadowed by the president’s attack on Iran. The first lady acknowledged the attack in her remarks when she offered her condolences to the families of the soldiers killed in the fallout from Operation Epic Fury. “My heartfelt condolences to the families who have lost their heroes, who sacrificed their lives for freedom, their bravery and dedication will always be remembered,” she said.
