Father and son cops both caught lucky breaks in NYPD shootings

They’re vested in the NYPD. A father and son serving with the Finest were both saved by their bulletproof vests nearly 30 years apart. Andrew Yurkiw joined the NYPD in 2012, following in the footsteps of his 71-year-old dad Paul Yurkiw who entered the force in 1982.
