Sinkhole suddenly opens at red light, swallowing Nebraska drivers

A truck and a Jeep were swallowed up by a sinkhole while waiting at a red light in Omaha, Nebraska, dramatic video shows. The Dodge Ram pickup and a Jeep SUV were stopped at the intersection of 67th and Pacific Streets Tuesday afternoon when the ground suddenly gave way beneath them sending the vehicles into the deep hole, according to security footage from University of Nebraska-Omaha Public Safety. The sinkhole opened as two drivers were waiting at a red light.
