Tony Dungy’s time on “Football Night in America” appears to be coming to an end after 17 seasons. The Pro Football Hall of Fame head coach is likely to be caught up in NBC’s plans to revamp the program, which would mean an end to his time on the Sunday night football pregame show, The Athletic reported Wednesday. A final decision has not been made on Dungy’s future, and the report indicated that there could still be a small chance the network could reverse course, while also suggesting the possibility of Dungy being given an “emeritus” role.
